An angry former employee said “Parker Hannifin puts shareholder interests over that of the employees. It is a job in which one may not work every day or every week based on product supply and demand. The management was not honest, legitimate, and sincere with employees. The work environment is warm and humid. There is no room or opportunity for growth and advancement. The company will cut one's position, especially contractors, without notice or warning and without justifiable cause. It is recommended that one not work there, even as a contractor".

Advancing through three different departments, the opportunity was there if you aligned with their clique. Being bi-racial in a workplace like this one was not enjoyable, as I was harassed and discriminated against. This certain location of this corporation has been known to run off non-white people and has a history of covering up for bigots. There is favoritism and nepotism rampant in this shop, with one group from a certain area trying to justify their hold on perceived power. This shop should be avoided at all costs if one seeks to be in an inclusive work environment ."

There traits include; -Vindictiveness - witnessed first hand by MANY people, nothing done about it. -Yelling at people, again, in front of many people, still, nothing done about it. This was extremely harmful for the department and made things just terrible all around. -Favortism - This is pervasive in all departments and just damages everything about working here. Things tend to be so terrible, moral, work ethic, just all around environment is horrible. -Incompetence - All around most of them are not technical and just promise ridiculous things. Schedule, budget, technical risk are all outright lies to both the customer and internal customers."

This is just at the Washington, Missouri plant! I was there for over 10 years and the toxicity just on the shop floor is unbelievable! They truly do discriminate against people with disabilities but leads and supervisors stick together and deny it.... just flat out lie to your face about discrimination! Moulder (Former Employee) says"Started work in there a year ago bosses treat the longer term staff like rubbish speak to them as if they own them no opportunity to learn as your rushed from the word go if you injure yourself youd be aswell leaving because theyll boot you next day because of there excellent safety record ( allegedly ) bosses are encouraged to push staff as much as possible our supervisor couldnt even do the job he was constantly pushing 3 of the older staff and fixing his mistakes terrible place to work wages were awful and glad i was out of there the only people that seemed to get promoted were women and it was evident they didnt know how to do the job fully no job enhancement no opportunities and the supervisors on a higher level treat you like a number id give it a miss if i were you Cons: Constant bullying of staff"

Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Former Employee) says"HR for this company is a joke. I quit this job but they are telling all my employers that I was terminated. You can’t talk to HR unless you are a Caucasian. She never looked me in the eyes and always sighed when I had a question for her. Pay is pathetic and they will refuse to give you a raise for something so small. There is definitely no job security. My supervisor was learning my position so they could secretly lay me off but I quit before all that. People there act like they are pros at racial topics and will make you feel extremely uncomfortable. They also make you look really bad for future employment elsewhere. I did a total of three jobs but only got paid for one. And until this they I still getting harassment letters from them. Cons: HR sucks, pay is pathetic people are racists."

Company has little interest in hiring on temp or hiring any workers even though they need them. They have no interest in training employees or welcoming them into the company. Management likes to play games & don't work together."
Assembler/Tester (Former Employee) says"The only reason people stay here is because you do not have to work that hard. Prior to Covid it was free overtime where they do not care what you produce. If you are clocked into a job and keep your mouth shut and do not question anything you are fine. All they care about is money, they will push high value jobs over OTD. Mangers will push you to get product out the door, they do not care about the quality or function. Upper management have zero clue what their workers do or how they do it. They screw over their employee's just to get themselves a raise. They have multiple customer corrective actions because they have zero training protocol. They promote their favorites, regardless of skill or knowledge."
